Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-07-14

Most privacy policies are written to protect the company from the user. This one is written to tell you what actually happens — plainly, and without the fog.

The short version

Who we are

notrack.ai is operated by notrack.ai. For anything in this policy — including any request about your data — contact us through our support form.

What we hold, and why

We keep this list as short as the product allows.

Your messages and the AI's replies
To generate the reply, and to show you your own chat history when you come back. Deleted after 30 days, or immediately when you delete the chat.
An anonymous id (the uid cookie)
A random number, so the site can show you your chats and nobody else's. It is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other websites.
IP address, country, browser type
Recorded alongside a chat for security and abuse prevention — to stop attacks and to enforce our Acceptable Use Policy. Deleted together with the chat.
Aggregate counts
How many chats and messages were created, per day and per country. Counts only — no text, no identifiers.
Safety events
When our automated child-safety system steps in, we record that it happened: category, action, country, date. No message text. No IP address.

Where your conversation actually goes

This is the part most AI services stay quiet about, so we will be loud about it.

When you send a message it goes to our own GPU servers, running open-weight models that we host ourselves. It is not forwarded to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Meta, or any other AI provider. There is no third-party API anywhere in the path. Nobody outside our own infrastructure reads your prompt in order to answer it.

That is the single biggest privacy difference between notrack.ai and nearly every other AI chat you can use.

Analytics

We measure how many people visit the site and which pages they read, using our own analytics, running on our own infrastructure. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising or tracking network, and we do not share visitor data with anyone.

It sees the page you are on, your approximate country, and your browser type. It has no access to the content of your conversations.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies, and none of them follow you around the internet. Each one is listed in our Cookie Policy.

Safety systems

We run an automated child-safety system on every conversation, as described in our Acceptable Use Policy. It is the one place where content is examined — automatically, by machine, in the moment.

When it acts, we log that it acted: the category, the action, the country, the date. We do not store the message that triggered it, and we do not store your IP alongside it.

We think that is the right trade: real protection for children, with the least possible surveillance of everyone else.

When we would hand something over

We disclose data only where we are legally compelled to, or where it is necessary to prevent serious harm — in particular harm to a child.

We do not sell data. We do not rent it. We do not pass it to advertisers, data brokers or AI companies. There is no arrangement anywhere in which your conversations are the product.

Your control

If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection under the GDPR, and the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

notrack.ai is an 18+ service. We do not knowingly process the data of anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is a minor we terminate their access and delete their data.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and data sits on infrastructure we control. No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise — which is precisely why we keep as little as we can, and delete it as soon as we can.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. If we ever start collecting something we did not collect before, we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing this page.

Language

This policy may be translated for your convenience. If a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version prevails.
